A Place of History A long-awaited Owego Riverwalk has been completed along the shores of the Susquehanna River in downtown Owego, NY. The Riverwalk begins at Ahwaga Park (a small park at the eastern end of the block of connected commercial buildings known as Riverow) and passes behind Riverow under the Court Street Bridge and continues along the existing Village riverfront park known as Draper Park (a distance of approximately 1,200 feet.) Nearly 130 cyclists hit the road last August, taking part in the 7th annual biking event presented by the Owego Rotary Club and the Tioga County Tourism office.
